Well, there’s not too much of interest on I-10 east from Mobile, AL to Jacksonville, FL. Just hours and hours of flat, straight, hot riding. I got home late afternoon and got cleaned up and had dinner with my oldest son and oldest daughter.
The trip was a total of 4,321 miles and took me through 18 states: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Louisiana. I qualified to become a member of the IBA and rode the Natchez Trace Parkway end to end. I saw national landmarks and memorials, visited with my family in a beautiful New England vacation spot and discovered roads that are ideal for motorcycling. I saw the New York City skyline and Antebellum homes in the Deep South. And I’m eagerly looking forward to the next trip.
