4321 Miles, 18 States, 1 Saddlesore 1000 – Summer 2009

Over the next three days, we did a bit of touring on the bike, first with my daughter down to Menemsha, and later with my wife to enjoy coffee in Edgartown. We also visted the beach at Aquinnah, ate dinner in Menemsha, and enjoyed church, a beach picnic and 4th of July fireworks in Edgartown.

The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the fellowship and company of the staff at the FOCUS Study Center on Lambert’s Cove in the town of West Tisbury. We swam in Seth’s Pond and went bridge jumping off of the American Legion Memorial Bridge south of Oak Bluffs at the Joseph Sylvia State Beach.
